Abstract
U ovome radu ukratko ćemo obraditi definiciju i osnovna svojstva gama i beta funkcija. Navest ćemo nekoliko osnovnih nejednakosti, te iskazati Čebiševljevu, Hölderovu i Grüssovu nejednakost. Pokazat ćemo nejednakosti za gama i beta funkcije izvedene primjenom Čebiševljeve nejednakosti na funkcije iste odnosno različite monotonosti. Dokazat ćemo log - konveksnost gama i beta funkcija. Na kraju rada ćemo iz Grüssove nejednakosti izvesti nekoliko nejednakosti.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we will process definition and elementary properties of Gamma and Beta functions. We will present some basic inequalities. Then, we will state Chebychev’s, Hölder’s and Grüss’ inequality. We will show inequalities for Gamma and Beta functions which can be derived from Chebychev’s inequality for synchronous and asynchronous functions. We will prove that Gamma and Beta functions are logarithmically convex. In the last chapter of this paper we will prove some general inequalities derived from Grüss’ inequality.
