Abstract
Problem geolokacijskog praćenja vidre prate specifični problemi, kao što su ograničenja u masi i dimenzijama takvog uređaja, uz dovoljno dugo trajanje baterije uređaja kako bi se prikupila dovoljna količina podataka. U ovom radu opisan je dizajn uređaja specijalno dizajniranog za praćenje vidre tijekom vremena od jedne godine uz očitanja lokacije četiri puta dnevno koristeći GNSS. U kućištu od tvrde plastike dimenzija 67 x 63 x 36 mm, ukupne mase uređaja 120 g, ugrađena je 4-slojna... More pločica, superkondenzator, GSM i GNSS antena te baterija. Mikroupravljački sustav male potrošnje upravlja sustavom, a sve podsustave moguće je pojedinačno isključiti kako bi se minimizirala potrošnja energije. Akcelerometar osigurava da se podaci ne šalju dok životinja spava pod zemljom, a sustav za detekciju vode osigurava da se slanje ne pokušava dok je životinja pod vodom. Sustav unutar navedene specifikacije ima trajanje baterije od 4.2 godine. Podaci se šalju SMS-om posebnom posredničkom uređaju koji ih prosljeđuje na sustav u oblaku iz kojega je moguće pregledavati i obrađivati podatke. Less
Abstract (english)
Designing a system for otter Geo-locating has its specific problems, such as mass and dimension limitations while achieving long enough battery life for gathering enough data. The paper describes the development of a GNSS-based device that could track otter locations throughout an entire year based on four location readings per day. It includes a hard-plastic enclosure measuring 67 x 63 x 36 mm with a mass of 120 g, a 4-layer PCB, a supercapacitor, a GSM and GNSS antenna, and a ... More battery. By implementing a super low-power microcontroller-based system with power control for each subsystem, power usage can be minimized. An accelerometer prevents the collection of data while animals are sleeping under the soil, and a water detection system prevents any transmission attempts underwater. Battery life of the developed system is 4.2 years. SMS messages from the device are sent to specially designed gateway device, which forward the data to the cloud, where all data can be analyzed and processed. Less
