Abstract
Ovaj rad bavi se brainstormingom kao metodom timskog rada. Ustanovljeno je kako se brainstorming koristi za pronalaženje rješenja određenog problema, načina postizanja nekoga cilja ili za razumijevanje problema. Pojam postoji još od davne 1939. godine, kada ga je osmislio Alex Osborn, partner jedne marketinške agencije. Od tada, ova metoda vrlo je popularna a u upotrebi je i danas. Ovaj rad pokazao je kako je temeljni cilj ove metode prikupljanje velikog broja ideja za rješavanje određenog problema u kratkom vremenu. Postoje i drugi ciljevi, kao primjerice, jačanje timskog duha, kohezije grupe, radne atmosfere te međuljudskih odnosa. Ciljevi su također i prednosti ove metode. Sam proces brainstorminga sastoji se od nekoliko koraka, odnosno od pripreme, izvođenja i evaluacije. Svaki korak ima svoje specifičnosti i pravila kojih se potrebno držati kako bi ova metoda bila učinkovita. Vrlo je naglašena i uloga vođe sastanka na kojem se odvija brainstorming, koji u praksi može koristiti različite vrste ove metode. Postoje i različiti alati za primjenu brainstorminga.
Abstract (english)
This paper focuses on brainstorming as a method of teamwork. It is determined that brainstorming is used for finding the solutions for certain problem, way of achieving certain goals or for understanding certain issues. This term exist since year 1939. when it has been created by Alex Osborn, partner of certain marketing agency. Since then, this method is very popular and it has been used nowadays as well. This paper has shown that the main goal of this method is collecting great number of ideas for solving certain problem in short time. There are also other goals, such as empowering team spirit, group's cohesion, working atmosphere and relationship between people. Those goals are also the benefits of using this method. The process itself is made of several steps, that are preparing the brainstorm, holding the brainstorm and evaluating the results. Every step has its own specificity and rules which must be obligated in order to make this method efficient. Also, the role of a leader of brainstorming is much highlighted and the leader can use various types of this method. There are also various tools for applying brainstorming.
