Abstract
Cilj rada bio je utvrditi alelopatski utjecaj ljekovite kadulje (Salvia officinalis L.) na klijavost i rast klijanaca korovne vrste strjeličasta grbica (Lepidium draba (L.) Desv.). Ispitivano je zajedničko klijanje sjemena kadulje i strjeličaste grbice i utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata od svježe i suhe mase u koncentraciji od 5 i 10% u petrijevim zdjelicama. U posudama je ispitan utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata od svježe mase te utjecaj svježih i suhih biljnih ostataka u dozi od 10 i 20 g/kg tla. Zajedničko klijanje značajno je smanjilo klijavost grbice za 21,2%, dok nije imalo utjecaja na rast klijanaca. Vodeni ekstrakti od svježe i suhe mase u prosjeku su smanjili klijavost za 23,1% odnosno 78,7%. Ekstrakti suhe mase pokazali su jači utjecaj na duljinu klijanaca i svježu masu grbice. U posudama, klijavost grbice bila je niža samo s ekstraktom svježe mase više koncentracije za 34,2%. Svježi i suhi ostatci kadulje nisu pokazali utjecaj na korov, s izuzetkom suhe mase koja je značajno stimulirala svježu masu klijanaca.

The aim of this study was to determine the allelopathic effect of common sage (Salvia officinalis L.) on germination and seedling growth of weed species hoary cress (Lepidium draba (L.) Desv.). Cogermination of sage and hoary cress seeds and influence of water extracts from fresh and dry sage biomass in concentrations of 5 and 10% were evaluated in Petri dishes. The effect of water extracts from fresh sage biomass as well as effect of fresh and dry sage residues in rates of 10 and 20 g/kg of soil was examined in pot experiment. Cogermination significantly reduced germination of hoary cress for 21.2% and had no effect on seedling growth. On average, water extracts from fresh and dry sage biomass reduced germination for 23.1% and 78.7%, respectively. Extracts from dry sage biomass showed stronger inhibition effect on seedlings length and fresh weight of cress. In pots, germination of hoary cress was reduced only in treatment with higher concentration extract for 34.2%. Fresh and dry sage residues showed no effect on the weed, with the exception of dry residues which significantly stimulated fresh weight of seedlings.
