Abstract
U svrhu prikupljanja podataka o poznavanju pesticida na području BiH provedena je anketa tijekom 2013. godine, u šest općina: Banja Luka, Gradačac, Gračanica, Mostar, Široki Brijeg i Žepče. Anketom je obuhvaćeno 202 osobe od čega je 23 % žena. Najviše je anketirano sa srednjom stručnom spremom i to 46 %. Najčešće anketirana je starosna struktura od 31 do 55 godina. Većina se izjasnila da znaju što su to pesticidi i to 91 %. Većina njih ne koriste iste pesticide više puta, većina traži stručnu pomoć kod kupnje zaštitnih sredstava (79 %), a 54 % koristi prije pesticide preventivno. 45 % anketiranih izjasnilo se da povećaju dozu zaštitnih sredstava ukoliko nisu imali efekta od prve primjene. Od zaštitne opreme najviše koriste zaštitnu masku i rukavice, dok tek 13 osoba koristi kompletnu zaštitnu opremu. Većina njih (88 %) se izjasnilo da se pridržava uputa koje su date na deklaraciji uz proizvod. Većina se izjasnila da znaju što je karenca i toleranca te rezistentnost i fitotoksičnost. Od svih pesticida najviše se koriste fungicidi. Mišljenje većine je kako ja zastupljenost bio-preparata u prometu premala. S neutrošenim sredstvima većina postupa na isti način tako što ih utroši u narednoj sezoni. Većina ispitanika ne poznaje na koji se način zbrinjava korištena ambalaža. Najveći broj anketiranih se izjasnilo da ambalažu od zaštitnih sredstava baci u komunalni otpad (44 %) a tek 11% ispitanika ju odnesu u službu za zbrinjavanje. Većina ispitanika 89% podržava uvođenje više reda u prometu pesticida kao i da njih 88 % imaju potrebu za dodatnom edukacijom o zaštitnim sredstvima

These surveys were conducted within Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Banja Luka, Gradačac, Gračanica, Mostar, Široki Brijeg and Žepče. All obtained data relate to 2013. The surveys involved 202 people (23% women). Most of the participants had a high school education (46%). The age structure of the surveyed people revealed a predominant group of people between 31 and 55 - 66%. 91% of the surveyed people stated that they knew what the pesticides were. Most of them don’t use same pesticides very often (85%) Most of the participants asked for professional advice when buying pesticides and protective agents. 54% of users applied the pesticides before the first symptoms or appearance. Almost half of the surveyed people (45%) stated that they increased the dosage of the product if the first treatment had failed to show the desired effect. As far as the protective equipment is concerned, most people stated that they used a protective mask, gloves, and just 13 people said that they used the complete protective equipment. Most of the people stated that they obeyed the application procedure and the prescribed quantities supplied on the label of the product (88%). Most of the participants stated that they knew what the terms „waiting period“ and „tolerance period“ mean, as well as term „resistance“ and the term „phytotoxicity.“ Most of the participants stated that that bio-preparation are not used and offered for sale in sufficient quantities. Most of them saved the unused pesticides for the next season. Half of the surveyed people did not know how to dispose of the used packaging in a proper way. Most of them stated that they threw the product packaging to the communal waste (44%) and 11% of the participants took the packaging to the toxic waste disposal service (11%). 84% of people thought that the law regulations concerning the disposal of packaging are too mild and undefined. 89% of the surveyed people thought that pesticide market needs stricter regulations and more order and 88% of them expressed a need for supplementary education programmes concerning the use of pesticides.
