Abstract	U laboratorijskom pokusu u kontroliranim uvjetima u Petrijevim zdjelicama, istražen je alelopatski potencijal vodenog ekstrakta ljupčaca (Levisticum officinale Koch.). Alelopatski utjecaj ekstrakta ljupčaca u različitim koncentracijama (2, 4, 6, 8 i 10%) istražen je na klijavost i rast klijanaca sjetvene grbice. Povećanjem koncentracije ekstrakta povećao se i alelopatski učinak te je postignut potpuni inhibitorni učinak svih parametara (100%) pri koncentraciji od 6%.
Abstract (english)	In a laboratory experiment under controlled conditions in Petri dishes, the allelopathic potential of lovage (Levisticum officinale Koch.) water extract was investigated. The alelopathic effect of lovage extracts in different concentrations (2, 4, 6, 8 and 10%) was investigated on germination and growth of garden cress. Increase in the concentration of the extract increased the allelopathic effect as well, and a complete inhibitory effect (100%) of all the parameters at 6% concentration was achieved.
