Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je opisati proizvodnju krmiva za goveda u sustav krava-tele na primjeru OPG-a Vujec iz Male Jasenovače u Bjelovarsko-bilogorskoj Županiji. Istraživanje je provedeno na OPG-u Nataša Vujec koji se Ekološkim govedarstvom bavi duži niz godina na površinama oko 400 hektara. Sve potrebne informacije dobiveni su u razgovoru sa nositeljem gospodarstva tijekom obilaska poljoprivrednih površina. Većina površina bila je zaraštena u šume i šikare te se nakon krčenja pristupalo obradi tla, ravnanju zemljišta i zasijavanju pašnjaka što je zahtijevalo velika ulaganja u mehanizaciju. Uz velika ulaganja u proizvodnju i uz puno truda i znanja ovaj OPG pokazuje da se može uspjeti u ekološkoj poljoprivredi. Svu krmu za hranidbu goveda proizvode na vlastitim površinama sa mehanizacijom koju posjeduju. Na velikim površinama pašnjaka goveda se mogu puno kretati ali imaju i veliku površinu za ispašu koja im je potrebna tijekom pašne sezone. Goveda pasmine angus dobro su se prilagodila klimi i uvjetima brdovitog kraja. Teljenje kod ove pasmine goveda vrlo je lako te nema potrebe za ispomoći čovjeka kod teljenja. Radi proširivanja stada, OPG je nastojalo kvalitetan ženski podmladak ostaviti na farmi radi povećanja broja grla u stadu i povećavanja površina pašnjaka. Muški pomladak ostajao bi u tovu ili išao na tržište kao rasplodni bikovi. Ovakav način gospodarenja poljoprivrednim zemljištem ima budućnost u svijetu, a i u Hrvatskoj i time se održavaju ruralna područja od izumiranja i zarastanja poljoprivrednih površina u šume.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to describe cattle forage production in a cow – calf system using family farm Vujec from Mala Jesenovača (Bjelovarsko – Bilogorska County) as an example. Research has been conducted on a family farm Nataša Vujec which deals with ecological cattle breeding for a long number of years and across 400 acres of land. All the necessary information has been obtained through conversations with the family farm holder during the rounds of the agricultural property. Most of the land was overgrown with wood and underbrush and after the reclamation, actions like soil processing, land flattening and semination took place which requires significant investments. With big investments and a lot of effort, this family farm shows that it can succeed in ecological agriculture. All the cattle feed is produced on their own property and with their own mechanization. On big grasslands cattle can freely roam the grazing surfaces which are necessary during pasture. Angus breed cattle are well adjusted to the climate and the hilly terrains. Calving of this breed comes very naturally and there is no need for human assistance. To increase the herd, the family farm has left the high quality female offspring to increase the size of the herd and the pasture. Female offspring would stay in fattening or put up for sale as breeding bulls. This type of agricultural management has a future in Croatia and in the world and it has a significance of maintaining rural areas and preventing agricultural lands from overgrowing into woods.
