Abstract
Cilj rada bio je odrediti alelopatski utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata pod biljne mase običnog ladoleža (Calystegia sepium (L.) R.Br.) i poljskog slaka (Convolvulus arvensis L.) na klijavost sjemena i rast klijanaca salate. U laboratorijskom pokusu u Petrijevim zdjelicama istraženi su ekstrakti od suhe mase stabljike i lista navedenih vrsta u koncentraciji od 5%. Klijavost sjemena salate snižena je značajno u svim tretmanima i do 12%. Negativno djelovanje zabilježeno je i na duljinu korijena i svježu masu klijanaca. Samo je ekstrakt lista poljskog osjaka značajno smanjio duljinu izdanka klijanaca salate. Korovne vrste razlikovale su se u svom alelopatskom potencijalu, kao i biljni dijelovi.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the study was to determine the allelopathic effect of water extracts from plant biomass of hedge bindweed (Calystegia sepium (L.) R.Br.)and field bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis L.) on seed germination and growth of lettuce. In the laboratory experiment in Petri dishes extracts from the dry biomass of stems and leaves of the above mentioned species at a concentration of 5% were investigated. Germination of lettuce seeds decreased significantly in all treatments up to 12%. Negative effect was also observed on the root length and fresh weight of the seedlings. Only the leaf extract of the field bindweed significantly reduced lettuce shoot length. Weed species differed in their allelopathic potential as well as plant parts.
