Abstract
Kultura tkiva in vitro je postupak koji podrazumijeva rast vrlo sitnih organa, komadića tkiva ili izoliranih stanica u aseptičnim uvjetima. Fraza "in vitro" označava uzgoj u staklu ili prozirnim posudama. Biotehnološkim postupkom, in vitro propagacijom, multipliciran je biljni materijal Pelargonium zonale L. te je izvršena adaptacija presadnica u različitim alternativnim supstratima. Nakon što je biljka došla do faze komercijalne presadnice obavljeno je uzorkovanje biljnog materijala. Statističkom obradom podataka utvrđena je značajna razlika za sve ispitivane parametre. Obzirom da su uspješno uzgojene presadnice na svim istraživanim supstratima, može se zaključiti kako su svi supstrati pogodni za uzgoj pelargonija. U budućim radovima s presadnicama pelargonije preporuča se istražiti mješavine supstrata, odnosno miješanje istraživanih komponenti u ovom radu, ali s naglaskom na kemijski sastav komponenti s ciljem dobitka optimalnog supstrata za uzgoj pelargonija.
Abstract (english)
In vitro tissue culture is a process that implies the growth of small organs, tissue parts or isolated cells in aseptic conditions. The phrase "in vitro" implies growing in glass or plastic container. Biotechnological procedure, in vitro propagation, was used to multiply plant material of Pelargonium zonale L. That material was than adapted in form of propagule in various alternative substratum. When the plant reached the phase of comercial propagulae, sampling of plant material was made. Statistical analysis of collected data showed there was statistically significant difference among all analyzed variables. The gowth of pelargonium transplants was successful in all of chosen substrates, in other words, all of the studied substrates are suitable for growing pelargonia. A recommendation for the future research is to investigate a mixture of substrates by focusing mainly on chemical compounds of mixture, all with the goal of making optimal substrate for growing pelargonia.
