Abstract
Najvažniji izvor mesa kojim se opskrbljuje domaće tržište je svinjogojska proizvodnja. Svinjogojska proizvodnja ima veliku ulogu u oplemenjivanju ratarskih proizvoda, a pomaže i u drugim granama gospodarstva kao što su: prerada mesa, proizvodnja stočne hrane, građevinarstvo i drugo. Cilj ovoga rada bio je definirati parametre održivosti sustava proizvodnje prasadi. Preduvjeti intenzivne svinjogojske proizvodnje su odabir adekvatnog genetskog materijala, primjena hranidbe prilagođene potrebama pojedine kategorije te pravilni smještaja svinja što podrazumijeva izgrađenost dobrog objekta koji zadovoljava određene uvjete. Utvrđeno je da smještaj izravno utječe na proizvodnju kvalitetnog potomstva, povećanje broja i kakvoće prasadi u leglu, konverziju hrane, brzinu, kakvoću i gospodarske rezultate u tovu svinja. Svinjogojstvo je izuzetno važno u stočarskoj proizvodnji i u ukupnom gospodarstvu Hrvatske, te omogućava zapošljavanje radne snage i zadržavanje iste u ruralnim područjima. Obzirom na postojeće resurse u Hrvatskoj, mogućnosti napretka i značajnog povećanja svinjogojske proizvodnje, osobito proizvodnje prasadi, izuzetno su velike
Abstract (english)
Pig production is the most important source of meat supplying of the domestic market. Furthermore, pig production has a major role in the cultivation of agricultural products, and it also helps in other economic sectors such as: meat processing, animal feed production, construction etc. The aim of this study was to define the parameters of sustainability of production systems piglets. Prerequisites for intensive pig production are the selection of adequate genetic material, the use of nutrition adapted to the needs of a particular category and the proper accommodation of pigs, which implies the construction of a good facility that meets certain requirements. It was found that the accommodation directly influences the production of quality offspring, increased number and quality of piglets in the litter, food conversion, as well as speed, quality and economic results in the pig fattening. Pig production is extremely important in livestock production and in the overall Croatian economy and provides employment of the workforce and keeping the same in rural areas. Taking into account the existing resources in Croatia, the opportunities for progress and the significant increase of pig production, especially the production of piglets, are extremely high.
