Abstract
Suncokret potječe iz Amerike, a tu kulturu su u Europu donijeli Španjolci. Njezino sjeme izvor je 43% ulja, 18% bjelančevina, 26% celuloze, 10% nedušičnih tvari te 3% minerala. Suncokret je primarno uljna kultura. U Republici Hrvatskoj, uzgaja se na 30.000 do 35.000 hektara iz čega je vidljivo kako je to nedostatno prije svega za domaće tržište, a takvom situacijom teško je prodrijeti i na strano tržište. Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi tehnološke činitelje i ekonomske pokazatelje proizvodnje na OPG-u Branimir Subotić. OPG Branimir Subotić bavi se isključivo ratarskom proizvodnjom koja se odvija na ukupno 80 ha obradivih površina, od kojih je u 2016. godini 12 ha bilo zasijano suncokretom. Na OPG-u je u 2015. godini ostvaren pozitivan financijski rezultat u proizvodnji suncokreta, odnosno dobit u iznosu od 24.600,00 kn.
Abstract (english)
Sunflower originates from America, and it is a culture brought to Europe by the Spaniards. Its seed is source of 43% oil, 18% proteins, 26% cellulose, 10% non-nitrogen substances and 3% minerals. Sunflower is the primary oil culture. In the Republic of Croatia, sunflower farms occupy between 30,000 and 35,000 hectares, which is not sufficient even to meet the needs of domestic market, and almost impossible to enable breakthrough to the foreign market as well. The aim of this research was to determine the technological factors and the economic indicators of production at family run farm whose owner is Branimir Subotic. Family farm Branimir Subotić deals with 80 hectares of cultivable areas, of which 12 hectares were used to sow in sunflower in 2016. Farm achieved a positive financial result in 2015, with profit of 24,600.00 HRK.
