Abstract
Som, crni somić, smeđi somić ili patuljasti, štuka i crnka su vrste riba karakteristične za vode dunavskog sliva. Crni i smeđi somić su alohtone vrste unesene u naše vode sa područja Sjeverne Amerike, dok je crnka domicilna dunavska vrsta koja je umjetno raširena na ovaj dio dunavskog sliva. Som i štuka su autohtone vrste dunavskog sliva. Som i crnka su isključivo vrste koje se javljaju u dunavskom slivu, dok štuku, crnog i smeđeg somića možemo naći i u vodama jadranskog sliva. Som je najveća od pet opisanih vrsta, te ima i najveću gospodarsku važnost. Štuka se također smatra gospodarski važnom vrstu, dok su obje vrste somića i crnka gospodarski nevažni. Som i štuka su posebno bitne vrste u sportskom ribolovu. Crnog i smeđeg somića se smatra invazivnom vrstom koja može negativno utjecati na ostale vrste, te se radi na prevenciji širenja ovih dvaju agresivnih vrsta. Crnka je jedina od navedenih vrsta ugrožena, a svjetski status joj je osjetljiv.
Abstract (english)
Catfish, black bullhead, brown bullhead or dwarf, pike and brunette are fish species characteristic of the water of the Danube basin. Black and brown bullhead are alien species introduced into our water from areas in North America, while the brunette domicile Danube kind that is artificially spread to this part of the Danube basin. Catfish and pike are indigenous species of the Danube basin. Catfish and brunette are only species that appear in the Danube basin, while the pike, black and brown catfish can be found in the waters of the Adriatic basin. The catfish is the largest of the five described species, and has the greatest economic importance. Pike is also considered an economically important species, while both types of catfish and brunette economically unimportant. Catfish and pike are especially important types of sport fishing. Black and brown catfish are considered an invasive species that can negatively affect other species, and they work to prevent the spread of these two aggressive types. Brunette is the only one of these species is endangered, and the global status of her touch.
