Abstract
Pojam ruralni turizam obuhvaća sve aktivnosti koje se događaju na ruralnom području. Ruralni turizam je jednako toliko značajan i za vrednovanje i očuvanje kulture, lokalne baštine i prirodnih znamenitosti, te upravo zbog tih karakteristika, Baranja uz svu svoju lijepu prirodnu okolinu, ima potencijal za razvoj i bavljenje ruralnim turizmom. Zbog toga je i sam cilj ovoga rada ukazati na mogućnost bavljenja i održivog razvoja u Baranji, kroz ankete koje su bile provedene među vlasnicima turističkog gospodarstava u ruralnom području. Na temelju istraživanja koje je provedeno i rezultata koji su prikazani u radu, te relevantne literature može se zaključiti kako se uz pripadajuće znanje i vještine, korištenjem baštine i tradicije te prirodnih atraktivnosti, koje privlače veliki broj turista, mogu postići zadovoljavajući rezultati, jer interesa za korištenjem usluga ove vrste turizma uvelike ima. Ono na čemu svakako treba poraditi kako bi ruralni turizam postigao još veći zamah i bio prepoznatljiviji, a što i ispitanici ankete smatraju korisnim su dakako marketing i promocija, više potpora od strane države, te informiranost korisnika usluga ruralnog turizma.
Abstract (english)
Rural tourism is the term that includes all the activities which take place in the rural area. Due to all the mentioned facts, alongside the beautiful natural environment, Baranja has a potential for development of rural tourism. The aim of this thesis is to indicate that Baranja has all the requirements to conduct rural tourism and sustainable development using questionnaire which was carried out among owners of tourist subjects in the rural area. Based on the research and literature, it’s likely to conclude that alongside knowledge, required skills, inheritance, tradition and natural attractions the satisfactory results can be achieved. The interest for this type of tourism is big and as the respondents of the questionnaire stated, financial support from the state and good marketing promotion could improve it even more.
