Abstract
Živčani sustav je jedan od najvažnijih sustava u tijelu životinje. To je komunikacijska mreža koja omogućuje životinjama da se prilagode promjenama unutar ili izvan tijela. Živčani sustav regulira kretnje tijela, regulira sekreciju žlijezda, prikuplja informacije iz vanjskog okruženja pomoću osjetila, određuje ponašanje. Građen je od živčanog tkiva koje se sastoji od neurona i glija stanica. Neuroni primaju i prenose podražaje u sve dijelove tijela a glija stanice im pomažu. Živčani sustav je podijeljen na središnji živčani sustav i periferni živčani sustav. Središnjem živčanom sustav pripadaju mozak i kralježnička moždina koji su građeni a perifernom živci i gangliji. Mozak se nalazi u lubanji i okružen je cerebrospinalnom tekućinom koja ga štiti. On ima glavnu ulogu u izvođenju pokreta, razmišljanju i senzornom procesiranju. Kralježnička moždina provodi informacije, izvodi reflekse i provodi lokomociju. Perifernom živčanom sustavu pripadaju živci i gangliji, a glavna uloga mu je povezivanje s centralnim živčanim sustavom. U živčani sustav još ubrajamo i autonomni živčani sustav koji je neophodan za održavanje normalne funkcije organa.
Abstract (english)
The nervous system is one of the most important system in the animal's body. It is a communication network which enables animals to adjust to the changes in its surrounding, inside or the outside of its body. Nervous system regulates body movements , it regulates secretion of the glands, it gathers information from the outside. It stimulates thirst, hunger, rage and fear. It is made of the nervous tissue, which is made of neurons and glia cells. Neurons gather and transmit stimuli into all parts of the body, and the glia cells help them. The nervous system is divided into the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. Brian and the spinal cord make up the central nervous system, and nerves and ganglia make up peripheral nervous system. The brain is centered in the skull and is surrounded by the cerebrospinal fluid, which protects it. It has a major role in performing movement, thinking, and sensory processing. Spinal cord conduct information, preforms reflexes, and conduct locomotion. Nerves and ganglia make up peripheral nervous system. Its main role is to connect and transmit information to central nervous system. A part of the nervous system is also an automatic nervous system which is essential for maintaining normal organ functions.
