Abstract	Cilj rada bio je prikazati ulogu i značaj plodoreda u ratarskoj proizvodnji. Struktura ratarske proizvodnje na obiteljskom poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu „Peharda“ prikazana je kroz plodored na tri različite proizvodne površine u četverogodišnjem razdoblju. Opisana je i prikazana agrotehnika uzgajanih ratarskih kultura. Ostvareni prinosi pšenice, raži, ječma i kukuruza razlikovali su se po proizvodnim površinama zbog specifičnosti u uvjetima proizvodnje na pojedinim površinama. Prinos kukuruza u ponovljenoj sjetvi na istoj proizvodnoj površini bio je značajno manji (8 t ha-1) u odnosu na prvu godinu proizvodnje (16 t ha-1) što jasno ukazuje na važnost provedbe plodoreda u svrhu ostvarenja visokih i stabilnih prinosa. Abstract (english)	The aim of the paper was to present the role and significance of crop rotation in the crop production. The structure of the crop production on the family farm "Peharda" is presented through the croping systems on three different production areas in the period of four years. The agrotechnics of farm crops is also described and presented. The achieved yields of wheat, rye, barley and maize differed on production areas due to the specificity of production conditions on certain areas. The yield of maize in the repeated sowing on the same production area was significantly lower (8 t ha-1) compared to yield in the first year of production (16 t ha-1), which clearly indicates the importance of crop rotation implementation for the purpose of achieving high and stable yields.
