Abstract	Biološka kontrola podrazumijeva primjenu živih korisnih organizama i produkata njihovoga metabolizma u kontroli štetočina. Biljni patogeni mogu se u suzbijanju korova koristiti na tri različita načina: klasičnom, konzervacijskom i augmentativnom (inokulativnom i inundativnom) biološkom kontrolom. U svrhu biološke kontrole na povrću, mogu se koristiti korisni kukci, entomopatogene nematode, bakterije i gljive. Rajčica je izložena velikom broju štetočina. Različite bolesti uzrokovane su bakterijama, fitogenim gljivama, fitplazmama i virusima, a štete nanose i nematode, te različiti insekti što neposredno, što prenošenjem virusa.
Abstract (english)	Biological control refers to the use of alive, useful organisms and products of their metabolism in the pest control. Plant pathogens can be used in weed control on three different ways: classical, conservative or augmentative (inoculative and inundative) method of biological control. Bugs, entomopathogenic nematodes, bacteria and fungi can be used for the purpose of biological control on vegetables. Tomatoes are exposed to the large number of pests. Different diseases can be caused by bacteria, phytogenic fungi, phytoplasma and viruses. Damage can also be caused by nematodes and different insects whether it is direct or transmitted by the virus.
