Abstract	U istraživanju je procijenjen alelopatski utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata strjeličaste grbice (Cardaria draba L.) na klijavost i početni rast klijanaca salate. Vodeni ekstrakti od suhe biljne mase stabljike i lista u koncentraciji od 5% istraženi su u laboratorijskom pokusu u Petrijevim zdjelicama. Vodeni ekstrakti stabljike i lista su statistički značajno smanjili klijavost sjemena i duljinu korijena. Negativan alelopatski utjecaj strjeličaste grbice zabilježen je i na duljinu izdanaka klijanaca salate, kao i kod svježe mase klijanaca koja je bila snižena u oba tretmana preko 50%. Oba ispitivana djela biljke pokazala su podjednak alelopatski učinak na ispitivane parametre.
Abstract (english)	The aim of the study was to evaluate the allelopathic influence of water extracts hoary cres (Cardaria draba L.) on seed germination and seedlings growth of lettuce. Water extracts of dry stem and leaf plant biomass at a concentration of 5% were investigated in laboratory conditions in Petri dishes. The leaf water extract significantly reduced the germination of lettuce seeds and length of root. Negative allelopathy was recorded both on length of seedlings growth of lettuce and on fresh weight of seedlings, which is reduced by more than 50 %. Both examined parts of plant have shown equal allelopathic influence on examined parameters.
