Abstract | Cilj istraživanja: utvrditi zadovoljstvo kvalitetom života s obzirom na dob i spol, kako razina obrazovanja utječe na kvalitetu života, zadovoljstvo korisnika s uslugama koje se pružaju u domu. Nacrt studije: presječna studija. Ispitanici i metode: istraživanje prevedeno na 156 ispitanika u domovima za starije i nemoćne osobe na području Međimurske županije. Anketni upitnik ispunjavao se tijekom srpnja i kolovoza 2017. godine. Anketni upitnik samostalno je kreiran. Rezultati: u istraživanju sudjelovalo je 156 ispitanika, od kojih je 34 (21,8 %) muškaraca i 122 (78,2 %) žena. Središnja vrijednost (medijan) dobi je 82 godine (interkvartilnog raspona od 77 do 86 godina) u rasponu od 52 do 95 godina. Od formalnog obrazovanja završeno četiri razreda osnovne škole ima 83 (53,9 %), dok završen fakultet ima 5 ispitanika (3,2 %). Neformalno obrazovanje ima 65 (41,7 %) ispitanika, a informalno obrazovanje ima 102 (65,8 %) ispitanika.S obzirom na zadovoljstvo domom ispitanici su dali visoke ocjene na sve čestice, što ukazuje da su ljudi zadovoljni smještajem i načinom života u domu (sobama, osobljem, hranom,cimerom, čistoćom,posjetama liječnika i hranom). Zaključak: na temelju provedenog istraživanja možemo zaključiti da su ispitanici nižeg obrazovanja zadovoljniji životom, s obzirom na dob zadovoljniji su stariji od 81 godine te su vrlo zadovoljni uslugama koje se pružaju u domu. U našem sustavu potrebno je omogućiti medicinskim sestrama da svoj posao rade na što je moguće kvalitetniji i uspješniji način. Medicinske sestre, radi poboljšanja kvalitete života pacijenata, svoj svakodnevni rad moraju temeljiti na znanosti o sestrinstvu. |
Abstract (english) | Aim of the study: To determine satisfaction with the quality of life with regard to age and gender, how the level of education influences the quality of life, and user satisfaction with the services provided at homes for the elderly and infirm. Study plan: Cross-sectional study. Subjects and methods: A survey was conducted with 156 subjects in homes for the elderly and infirm in the Međimurje County area. The survey questionnaire was completed in July and August 2017. The survey questionnaire was self-created. Results: The study involved 156 subjects – 34 males (21.8%) and 122 females (78.2%). The mean age (median) is 82 years (interquartile range 77-86 years), ranging from 52 to 95 years. With regard to formal education, 83 subjects (53.9%) have completed four grades of primary education, while 5 subjects (3.2%) have university-level education. 65 subjects (41.7%) have non-formal education, and 102 subjects (65.8%) have informal education. With respect to satisfaction with the home, the subjects gave high grades to all items, which indicates that people were satisfied with the accommodation and the way of life in the home for the elderly and infirm (as regards the rooms, staff, food, roommate, cleanliness and doctor visits). Conclusion: Based on the researchconducted, we can conclude that subjects in a lower education category are more satisfied with life, with subjects aged above 81 being very satisfied with the services provided attheir home for the elderly and infirm. In our healthcare system, it is necessary to enable nurses to do their job with the highest degree of quality and success. Nurses must base their daily work on nursing science in order to improve the quality of life of their patients. |
