Abstract
Ciljevi istraživanja: Ispitati povezanost demografskih obilježja, navika, kliničkih obilježja, prisutnost RF i CCP protutijela s pojavnošću plućnih manifestacija u bolesnika s reumatoidnim artritisom. Nacrt studije: Presječna studija na povijesnim podatcima. Ispitanici i metode: Ovo istraživanje provedeno je na ispitanicima oboljelima od RA, koji su dijagnosticirani i praćeni tijekom petogodišnjeg razdoblja (1.1.2019. – 31.12.2023.) na Odjelu za reumatologiju, kliničku imunologiju i alergologiju Kliničkog bolničkog centra Osijek, Hrvatska. Rezultati: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo ukupno 97 pacijenata s RA, od kojih je 18 muškaraca i 79 žena. Medijan dobi je 63 godina, u rasponu od 26 do najviše 90 godina. Nisu pronađene značajne razlike s obzirom na dob i spol u bolesnika koji imaju plućne manifestacije u odnosu na one koji ih nemaju. Također, rezultati pokazuju da nema značajnih razlika s obzirom pušačku anamnezu, vrijednosti reumatoidnog čimbenika i anti-CCP-a u ovisnosti prisutnosti plućnih manifestacija ili ne. Zaključak: Rezultatima ovog istraživanja nije potvrđena statistički značajna razlika između bolesnika sa plućnim manifestacijama koji boluju od RA u odnosu na bolesnike koji imaju RA bez plućnih manifestacija.
Abstract (english)
Objectives: To examine the association of demographic characteristics, habits, clinical features and the presence of RF and CCP antibodies with the occurrence of pulmonary manifestations in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Study design: The study is designed as a cross-sectional study with historical data. Patients and Methods: This study included patients diagnosed with RA who were monitored over a five-year period (January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2023) at the Department of Rheumatology, Clinical Immunology, and Allergology, Clinical Hospital Center Osijek, Croatia. Results: The study involved a total of 97 RA patients, including 18 males and 79 females. The median age was 63 years, ranging from 26 to 90 years. There were no significant differences in age and gender between patients with pulmonary manifestations and those without. Additionally, the results showed no significant differences in smoking history, RF, and antiCCP values based on the presence or absence of pulmonary manifestations. Conclusion: The results of this study did not confirm a statistically significant difference between RA patients with pulmonary manifestations and those without.
