Abstract
U ovom radu ćemo se upoznati s Cobb-Douglasovom funkcijom. Pokazati ćemo kako je funkcija nastala, opisati njena osnovna svojstva te navesti njene osnovne primjene. Pritom ćemo se koristiti nekim matematičkim rezultatima iz teorije funkcija više varijabli, kao što su parcijalne derivacije te rješavanje uvjetne optimizacije metodom Lagrangeovih multiplikatora. Spomenuti ćemo i neke poteškoće koje se javljaju prilikom upotrebe ove funkcije.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we will be introduced to Cobb-Douglas function, show how the function is created, describe it’s basic properties and specify it’s basic applications. We will use some mathematical results of the theory of functions with multiple variables, such as the partial derivatives and solving conditional optimization by using method of Lagrange multipliers. We will mention some problems that occur when using this function.
