O egipatskoj matematici saznaje se iz dvaju izvora: Rhindovog i Moskovskog papirusa. Iz zadataka koji se nalaze u njima spoznali smo način na koji su egipćani zapisivali brojeve, način na koji su zbrajali, oduzimali, množili, dijelili; saznali smo o razlomcima, pravilima za zapisivanje razlomaka,... Abstract (english)
Most of our knowledge of mathematics in Egypt is derived from two papyri: the Rhind Papyrus and the Golenischev Papyrus. Because of tasks that are in them, we know the ways of writing, summing, subtracking, multiplying and dividing the numbers and writing the fractions.
