Abstract
U prvom poglavlju ovog diplomskog rada opisane su poteškoće s kojima se učenici susreću pri učenju matematike. Nadalje je objašnjeno kako učenici često dolaze do pogreški u dvije veoma značajne grane matematike: algebri i geometriji. Na kraju su prikazani različiti pristupi u podučavanju matematike koje mogu primjeniti nastavnici. Za kvalitetnije predavanje preporuča se da nastavnik koristi računalne programe i razna pomagala.

Parallel abstract (English)
In the first chapter we discussed the difficulties which students face while studying mathematics. We then explained why students often make mistakes in algebra and geometry, the two most important branches of mathematics. Finally, we have shown some of the different ways of teaching that teachers can use to present knowledge to students. In order the elevate the quality of teaching, it is advised to use computer programs and many other tools and helpers for teaching.
