Abstract
Za razliku od klasičnih metoda poučavanja u kojima je učenik pasivan , učenje otkrivanjem nudi pristup usmjeren na učenika, u kojem on otkriva novo znanje putem aktivnih, osobnih iskustava i konstruira nove koncepte temeljene na postojećem znanju. Izometrije ravnine su preslikavanja ravnine čija osnovna svojstva, definicije i međusobnu povezanost učenici na ovaj način mogu samostalno otkriti. Samostalno rješavanje problema pozitivno utječe na njihovo samopouzdanje i odgovornost. Nastavnik ima ulogu koordinatora koji ima zadatak probuditi njihovu zainteresiranost, entuzijazam i znatiželju. Na kraju možemo reći kako je iskustvo čovječanstva pokazalo da su znanja stečena osobnim otkrićima najtrajnija i najviše utječu na razvoj osobnosti pojedinca.
Abstract (english)
Unlike classical teaching methods through which student is passive, learning by discovery offers a student-centered approach, where he discovers knowledge through active, personal experiences and constructs new concepts based on existing knowledge. Plane isometries are mappings whose basic properties, definitions, and interdependence students can discover by themselves. Solving the problem positively affects their self-confidence and responsibility. Teacher has the role of a coordinator who has the task of awakening their interest, enthusiasm and curiosity. At last, experience of mankind has shown that knowledge gained through personal discoveries is the most enduring and has the most affect on development of an individual’s personality.
