Abstract
Cilj je pokušati prikazati razne načine na koje izračunavanje integrala može pomoći u različitim znanostima. Promatrat ćemo kako se integrali primjenjuju u geometriji, fizici, kemiji, ekonomiji, te numeričkoj matematici, uz niz primjera. U geometriji integral koristimo za izračunavanje površine ravnih likova, rektikacija krivulje, određivanje volumena i površine rotacijskih tijela. Zatim primjene u fizici na računanje statičkih momenata i koordinata težista, te nekoliko primjera za računanje puta,rada sile, kinetičke energije i tlaka tekućine. Primjene integrala u kemiji prikazat ćemo kroz niz primjera od kojh su neki iz područja kemijske termodinamike, problemi volumnog rada idealnog plina, i sl. U numeričkoj matematici koristi se aproksimativno izračunavanje vrijednosti integrala na nekom danom segmentu pomoću različiih metoda, primjerice trapezna formula, Newton - Cotesove formule, Simpsonova formula, te generalizirane trapezna i Simpsonova formula. Ekonomija pak koristi integrale pri promatranju količine investicija kao akumulirani kapital tokom vremena. Određeni integral možemo koristiti i pri određivanju dodatnih ukupnih trosšova poizvodnje na određenom stupnju proizvodnje.
Abstract (english)
The goal is to try to show dierent ways how integrals can help in dierent science. We will consider how we can use integrals in geometry, physics, chemistry, economy and numeric mathematic, with lot of exemples. In geometry we can use integrals for calculate areas of geometric gures, determining the arc length, determining the volume and the area of rotating bodies. Applications in physics are for caalculating static momets, coordinates of the center of gravity, and few examples for calculating the path, work force, kinetic energy and uid pressure. In chemistry we will show some examples from chemical thermodynamics, problems of the volume of work of the ideal gas, etc. In numeric mathematic we use approximate calculation the values of the integrals on some given segment with dierent metods such as trapezoidal formula, Newton - Cotes formulas, Simpson's formula, and generalized trapezoidal and Simpson's formula. Economy use integrals for observing the amount of investment like accumulated capital over time. Denite integral we can use for identifying additional total costs of production on specify level. 30
