Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu objasnila sam što su to rodne uloge, kako nastaju i koju ulogu mediji imaju u njihovom učenju. Utjecaj medija na njihove konzumente, tema je mnogih istraživanja i postoje razne teorije koje pokušavaju definirati način na koji mediji oblikuju naš svjetonazor. Načini na koje mediji izvještavaju o ženama i muškarcima različiti su ne samo u kvaliteti nego i u obujmu medijskog prostora. Kako bih prikazala utjecaj medija na stvaranje rodnih uloga, analizirala sam postojeća istraživanja na tu temu, ali i provela svoje istraživanje. U eksperimentalnom istraživanju na uzorku od 36 ljudi, provjeravajući postavljene istraživačke hipoteze, prikazala sam koliko mediji utječu na muškarce i koliko na žene.
Abstract (english)
My graduate thesis starts with an explanation of terms – sex, gender and gender roles. Furthermore, I explain the effect of media. There are a lot of theories that focus on media's effect on people and it's no suprise scientists are trying to get to the bottom of this. The way media potrays men and women is different not only in quantity but also in quality. In order to show the influence of media on learning gender roles, I analyzed a number of research papers and conducted my own. On a sample of 36 people, I proved that media has different effects on men and women.
