Abstract
Površinski aktivne tvari ili tenzidi su bifunkcionalne organske molekule koje se sastoje od hidrofilnog i hidrofobnog dijela. Dijele se u 4 grupe: anionske, kationske, neionske i amfolitske tenzide. Anionski tenzidi su najzastupljeniji i najčešće se koriste u obliku praškastih detergenata. Tenzide možemo analizirati različitim metodama kao što su titracijske, spektrofotometrijske i kromatografske metode. Za određivanje završne točke titracije i analizu tenzida najčešće se koriste potenciometrijske titracije koje koriste ionskoselektivne elektrode. Ispitivali smo utjecaj koncentracije titransa na oblik titracijskih krivulja zbog određivanja najniže koncentracije titransa koji će davati još uvijek dovoljno izraženu i uporabivu točku infleksije, čime bi se omogućilo i određivanje vrlo niskih koncentracija anionskih tenzida. Kao titrans smo koristili standardne otopine cetilpiridinijeva klorida (CPC) različitih koncetracija (c=1 x 10-3 mol/dm3, 1 x 10-4 mol/dm3, 5 x 10-5 mol/dm3), a kao analit su korištene otopine natrijeva dodecilsulfata (NaDDS) i otopine natrijeva dodecilbenzensulfonata (NaDBS) različitih koncetracija (c=1 x 10-3 mol/dm3, 1 x 10-4 mol/dm3, 5 x 10-5 mol/dm3).

Surface active agents or surfanctants are organic bifunctional moleculs consisting of a hydrophilic and hydrophobic part. They are divided into 4 grups: anionic, cationic, nonionic and ampholytic surfactants. Anionic surfactants are the most common and most widely used in the form of powder detergents. Surfactants can be analyzed by various methods such as titration, spectrophotometric and chromatographic method. For determination of the equivalence point titration and analysis of surfactants are usually carried out by potentiometric titration using ion-selective electrode. We tested the influence of the concentration of titrant on shape of the titration curves to determine the lowest concentration of titrant that will still give sufficiently expressed and an usable inflection point, which should facilitate the determination of very low concentrations of anionic surfactants. Different concentrations of cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC, c=1 x 10-3 mol/dm3, 1 x 10-4 mol/dm3, 5 x 10-5 mol/dm3) were used as titrans and a solutions of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (NaDBS, c=1 x 10-3 mol/dm3, 1 x 10-4 mol/dm3, 5 x 10-5 mol/dm3) and dodecylsulfate (NaDDS, c=1 x 10-3 mol/dm3, 1 x 10-4 mol/dm3, 5 x 10-5 mol/dm3) were used as the analyte.
