Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je navesti primjenu spektroskopije u analitičkoj kemiji. Ne tako davno, određivanje struktura molekula bilo je zamorno i dugotrajno. Izum suvremenih tehnika omogućuje utvrđivanje cjelovite strukture uzorka u vrlo kratkom vremenu. Spektroskopija koristi apsorpciju, emisiju ili rasipanje elektromagnetskog zračenja materijom u svrhu kvalitativnih i kvantitativnih ispitivanja materije ili fizikalnih procesa. Spektroskopija se koristi u mnogim granama znanosti jer omogućuje određivanje strukture molekule, jačine kemijske veze ili strukture biomolekula. Spektroskopija se može koristiti i za identificiranje nepoznatih spojeva, otkrivanje poznatih spojeva, mjerenje koncentracije poznatih spojeva u uzorcima. Mnoge analitičke metode u kemiji, biokemiji i farmaciji temelje se na korištenju spektroskopije.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this work is to state application of spectroscopy in analytical chemistry. A while ago, determination of molecular structures was tiresome and time consuming. The invention of modern techniques makes possible the determination of the complete sample structure in a very short time. Spectroscopy uses the absorption, emission, or scattering of electromagnetic radiation by matter for the purpose of qualitative and quantitative studies of matter or studies of physical processes. Spectroscopy is used in many branches of science because it enables the determination of molecular structures, strength of chemical bond or structure of biomolecules. Spectroscopy can be applied for identification of unknown compounds, detection of known compounds, measuring the concentration of known compounds in samples. Many analytical methods in chemistry, biochemistry and pharmacy are based on using of spectroscopy.
