Abstract
Prilikom temeljenja građevina, građevnih jama i obavljanja sličnih zahvata u tlu, potrebno je voditi računa o podzemnim vodama. Naime, neophodno je sniziti nivo podzemne vode te omogućiti izvođenje radova u suhom što svako gradilište zahtijeva, između ostalog zbog važne uloge podzemne vode u stabilnosti temelja. Ovisno o vrsti i propusnosti tla, ali i drugim karakteristikama tla, odabire se adekvatna tehnika snižavanja nivoa podzemne vode, a neizostavan dio samog procesa jest izrada proračuna snižavanja nivoa podzemne vode.
