Abstract
Krutost možemo definirati kao otpornost na deformaciju i matematički ju definiramo kao odnos sile F koja uzrokuje deformaciju i same deformacije x. Dijelimo je na aksijalnu, krutost na savijanje i torzijsku krutost. Krutost zavisi od vrste materijala, oblika i dimenzija nosača i i vrste. Metoda pomaka je metoda proračuna statički neodređenih sustava u kojoj su nepoznanice translacijski i rotacijski pomaci odabranih točaka koje nazivamo čvorovima. Razlikujemo točnu i inženjersku metodu pomaka. Simetrično opterećenje možemo rastaviti na simetričnu i antisimetričnu komponentu. Za simetričnu i antisimetričnu matricu imamo različite matrice jer se razlikuju u elementima. Matrica krutosti može biti različitih oblika, ovisno koje ima unutarnje sile.
