Abstract
Mješoviti sustavi, točnije sustavi armiranobetonskih zidova i nearmiranih zidanih zidova, javljaju se kad se kod već postojećih zgrada nearmirani zidani zidovi, koji ne zadovoljavaju zahtjeve seizmičkog projektiranja, zamjenjuju s armiranobetonskima. Potresno ponašanje takvih konstrukcija još uvijek nije u potpunosti razjašnjeno i velika je razlika u odgovoru konstrukcije s pojedinačnim i kombiniranim sustavom. Kada bi se prema pojednostavljenoj metodi zanemarili nearmirani zidani zidovi i sve horizontalne sile rasporedile samo na armiranobetonske zidove, rezultat bi bio previše konzervativan i pravo ponašanje konstrukcije ne bi se moglo dobro prikazati. Projekt nazvan CoMa WallS: Potresno ponašanje kombiniranog sustava armiranobetonskih i nearmiranih zidanih zidova ima za cilj pridonijeti razumijevanju potresnog ponašanja struktura s armiranobetonskim i nearmiranim zidanim zidovima te na temelju rezultata razvijati smjernice za seizmičko projektiranje. Za potrebe projekta i ispitivanje na potresnom stolu, projektirana je četverokatna modelna građevina u upola manjem mjerilu sa šest nearmiranih zidanih zidova i dva armiranobetonska zida, a međukatna konstrukcija je armiranobetonska ploča. U ovom radu za proračun konstrukcije primijenjena je metoda ekvivalentnih statičkih sila za različite intenzitete proračunskog ubrzanja tla. Zidani zidovi su brojniji i dominantni su površinom i težinom, dok armiranobetoni imaju veliku krutost, čime je zbroj krutosti ovih dvaju vrsta zidova gotovo identičan. Obzirom kako se potresna sila i moment savijanja raspodjeljuju na zidove u omjeru krutosti, zaključak je kako zidani zidovi značajno doprinose potresnoj otpornosti.

Existing unreinforced masonry structures that do not satisfy the seismic design check are often reinforced by adding reinforced concrete walls or by replacing selected unreinforced masonry walls by reinforced concrete walls. Current seismic design and assessment codes not address such mixed structures and system stiffness and overall structural behaviour will strongly depend on both types of structural elements. The design of such structures is, however, often oversimplified by assigning all horizontal forces to the RC walls and neglecting the contribution of the URM walls which is conservative from a strength point of view and does not capture the real behaviour of the structure. Project CoMa WallS: Seismic behaviour of mixed reinforced concrete - unreinforced masonry wall structures has a objective to improve the understanding of mixed structures and to study the seismic behaviour of these structures. For the purpose of the project, four-storey mixed RC-URM wall structure was constructed at half-scale. The building comprises six unreinforced masonry walls and two reinforced concrete walls per storey with reinforced concrete slabs. In this paper, the lateral force method of analysis was conducted for different intensities of design ground acceleration. Horizontal seismic forces and moments were distributed to the vertical structural system depending on the wall stiffness. Due to the fact that stiffness of the two types of walls stand in a certain proportion, contribution of URM walls is not neglectable.
