Abstract
Potresna aktivnost u Republici Hrvatskoj nije rijetka pojava. Iz tog razloga, inženjeri nastoje proučiti potresno ponašanje zgrada na našem području. Tako je u ovom radu za Grad Osijek, koji je ekonomsko i kulturno središte istočne Hrvatske, tj. naselje Sjenjak na južnoj strani Osijeka, provedena usporedba rezultata osnovnog perioda vibracija za tri tipske građevine. Naselje Sjenjak nalazi se u VII. potresnoj zovi s vršnim ubrzanjem tla 0.11g (http://seizkarta.gfz.hr/). Građevine su izvedene u vremenskom razdoblju od 1968. do 1988. sustavom takozvane Tunelske gradnje. Variranjem visine građevina, odnosno broja katova, te tlocrtnih dimenzija, napravljena je usporedba rezultata dobivenih empirijskim izrazima te 3D modela u programskom paketu SAP (SAP2000, 2014.). Detaljno je opisan sustav navedene gradnje sa svojim prednostima i doprinosom boljoj potresnoj otpornosti građevina. Na kraju rada objašnjena je potresna oštetljivost građevina koja se zasniva na koeficijentu oštetljivosti DR (engl. Damage Ratio). Provedena je analiza potresne oštetljivosti tipskih zgrada sa spektralnim prikazom koeficijenta oštetljivosti u funkciji vršnog ubrzanja tla.

Seismic activity in the Republic of Croatia is not a rare occurrence. Therefore, engineers are trying to investigate seismic behavior of buildings in our area. This paper outlines a comparison of the results of the fundamental period of vibration for three standard buildings situated in Sjenjak, the residential area of Osijek – the economic, cultural and administrative centre of the eastern Croatian region of Slavonia. Sjenjak is located in seismic zone VII, with peak ground acceleration of 0.11g (http://seizkarta.gfz.hr/). The buildings are built from 1968 to 1988 with tunnel form technique. Changing heights of buildings, i.e. number of floors, and layout plans, we have obtained comparison of results, calculated by empirical expressions and 3D modelling using SAP2000 software (SAP2000, 2015). Tunnel form technique is described in details with all advantages and its contribution to higher seismic resistance of buildings. At the end of the paper seismic vulnerability of buildings based on Damage Ratio coefficient (DR) is explained. The analysis of seismic vulnerability for three buildings was obtained as well as spectral functions of DR coefficients for chosen peak ground accelerations.
