Abstract
Predmet sadržaja ovog završnog rada je utvrđivanje različitih sustava klasifikacije tla te njihova usporedba. Govori se o svemu potrebnome da bi se tlo uopće svrstalo u određene klasifikacijske grupe. Počevši od definiranja granulometrijskog sastava, zatim granice konzistentnih stanja, odnosno Atterbergovih granica, utvrđeni su najpoznatiji sustavi klasifikacije. Ovi sustavi posebo su važni kako bi postojao jedinstveni jezik među inženjerima širom svijeta. Bitno je da pijesak, šljunak, glina, prah i ostala tla imaju svoj jedinstveni simbol. Težeći tome najpoznatiji sustav klasifikacije je Jedinstveni sustav klasifikacije tla. Obzirom da svaka zemlja ima svoju specifičnu geologiju sustav je prilagođen kao takav. U nastavku je obrađena i usporedba navedenih sustava. Osim toga, opisani su i načini terenske klasifikacije tla koja poput laboratorijskih istraživanja zauzimaju važnost u procesu klasifikacije.
Abstract (english)
Main subject of this paper is to determine different systems of soil classification and to compare them. There will be mention of everything necessary to even classify ground to certain classification groups. It starts by defining the granulometric system and it goes on to define borders of consistent states or Atterbergs borders, and it also determines some of the well known classification systems. These systems are important for the existence of a single unique language amongst the engineers of the world . It is important that sand, gravel, clay, powder and other types of soil have their unique symbol. Aspiring to that cause the best known system of classification is the United Soil Classification System. Taking into consideration that every country has a specific geology, the system is adapted as is. In the later pages of the paper there is further elaboration and comparison of the aforementioned systems. Furthermore there is detailed description and mention of on field classification ways that hold as much of importance as laboratory exploration.
