Abstract
Geosintetici su proizvodi od sintetičkih i polimernih materijala koji se upotrebljavaju u građevinarstvu od hidrotehnike pa sve do prometnica radi stabilizacije i ojačanja građevina. Kroz prva dva dijela bit će navedeni koji materijali spadaju u geosintetike, njihove funkcije te područja građevine gdje se oni upotrjebljavaju. U ovom je radu prikazano pokusima, uz teorijski opis zbog lakšeg shvaćanja, kako geosintetici djeluju u kombinaciji s različitim materijalima, a rezultati ispitivanja će pružiti realnu sliku njihovih djelovanja i funkcija. Poseban osvrt u ovom radu bit će na njihova testiranja koja su izvedena uz pomoć rastvarajuće kutije što je pružilo dobar uvid u funkcionalnost geosintetika postavljanog između slojeva agregata. Također, za vjerodostojnost njihovog djelovanja bit će prikazana i usporedba istog granulacijskog sastava testiranog u rastvarajućoj kutiji bez ikakvog ojačanja čime će se pružiti dodatna vizija i potvrda geosintetičke funkcije.
