Abstract
U ovom radu objašnjen je pojam buke i sveprisutna zagađenost prometnom bukom, dane su karakteristike prometne buke i pojašnjena je zakonska regulativa u Republici Hrvatskoj vezana za buku. Prikazani su načini mjerenja buke i korištenje dobivenih podataka za izradu karata buke i akcijskih planova. Detaljno su pojašnjene mjere zaštite od buke sa naglaskom na barijere za zaštitu od buke. Projektiranje zaštite od buke i obrada podataka dobivenih mjerenjem razina buke prikazani su na primjeru izrade zidova za zaštitu od buke na dionici željezničke pruge M201 Državna granica-Botovo-Koprivnica-Dugo Selo i primjerom Južne obilaznice Osijeka.
