Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada su ekološke aktivnosti o vodi u dječjem vrtiću, a svrha je utvrditi koliko su djeca predškolske dobi ekološki osviještena, koliko je njihovo znanje o vodi i njenoj važnosti te utvrditi koliko su odgojiteljiispitane djece ekološki osviješteni kada se radi o očuvanju voda,te koliko je njihovo znanje o zaštiti voda i primjenjuju li aktivnosti u praksi. Izrađen je na Odsjeku za prirodoslovlje Učiteljskog fakulteta u Osijeku iz predmeta Ekologija za održivi razvoj. Mentor diplomskog rada je izv. prof. dr. sc. Irella Bogut, a sumentor je mr. sc. Željko Popović, profesor visoke škole. Diplomski rad sadrži 66 stranica, 12 slika, 22 grafikona i 3 priloga. Kako odgoj za okoliš sustavno počinje polaskom djeteta u školu, iako je i dijete predškolske dobi uključeno u određene ekološke aktivnosti. Ono je u toj dobi usmjereno na opće doživljavanje prirode, čime se pokreće emocionalna osjetljivost. Dakako da se u susretu s prirodom ne radi samo o emocionalnom razvoju nego i o spoznajnom i drugim procesom. Ispitivanje sam provela u dječjem vrtiću „Stribor“ u Osijeku na uzorku od 20 djece, u dobi između 5-6 godina (12 dječaka i 8 djevojčica) pomoću intervjua prilagođenog uzrastu djece, te anketnog upitnika za odgojitelje u kojem je sudjelovalo 10 odgojiteljica ( sve su bile ženskog roda). Provjeru dječjeg znanja o vodi, njenoj važnosti za ljudski život i važnosti njenog očuvanja sam provela usmenim ispitivanjem (intervju) pomoću unaprijed pripremljenih 14 pitanja. Za odgojiteljice sam pripremila anketni upitnik koji se sastojao od 5 općih pitanja, te 19 pitanja kojima sam željela saznati njihove stavove o vodi i njenoj važnosti, te aktivnostima koje provode u dječjem vrtiću s djecom (otvorenog i zatvorenog tipa). Pomoću intervjua sam saznala da djeca raspolažu zadovoljavajućim znanjem vezanih uz vodu, njenu važnost i njeno očuvanje, te imaju želju i nadalje sudjelovati u aktivnostima koje štite vodu od daljnjeg zagađivanja. Anketom koju sam provela među odgojiteljima u dječjem vrtiću saznala sam i kako su odgojitelji ekološki osvješteni i svjesni važnosti vode, te njenog očuvanja za naš život. Aktivnosti u dječjem vrtiću na temu ekološki sadržaji o vodi se provode različitim intezitetom, što ovisi o ekološkoj svijesti odgojitelja, ali i o dobi djece. The topic of this diploma paper is environmental activities of water in kindergarten. The main goal of the study was to determine if preschool children are environmentally friendly and how familiar they are with the importance of water.The study also focused on how much the educators of the target group are environmentally friendly when it comes to water conservation, how much they know about water protection and whether they apply their knowledge in practice. The diploma paper is connected to the Department for Natural Sciences, Faculty of Teacher Education in Osijek, for programme Ecology for sustainable development. Mentor is assoc. prof. dr. sc. Irella Bogut and assistant mentor mr.sc. Željko Popović, college professor. Graduate work contains 66 pages, 12 figures, 22 charts and 3 appendices. The preschool child is involved in the certain environmental activities as well is the school child in ecological education. At this age, the child is focused on the general experience of nature, which develops the emotional sensitivity and also cognitive and other processes. I conducted the examination in kindergarten "Stribor"in Osijek by the group of 20 children, aged 5-6 years (12 boys and 8 girls) with the interviews adjusted to the age of the children, and a questionnaire for 10 educators (all were female). The children’s knowledge about water, its importance to human life and the importance of its conservation was questioned through the interview (oral examination) by pre-prepared 14 questions. I also prepared a questionnaire for educators whichconsisted of five general questions and 19 questions connected to their opinion on water and its importance, as well to the activities (outdoor and indoor) they carry out with children in the kindergarten. By using the interview I found out that children have sufficient knowledgerelated to water, its importance and its conservation, and that they have a motivation to continue to participate in activities that protect water from further pollution. The questionnaire I conducted among educators in kindergarten showed that educators are environmentally friendly and aware of the importance of water and its conservation in our lives. Activities in the kindergarten on the topic of environmental issues about water vary according to the environmental awareness of educators, but also on the age of the children. I carried out whole-day activities on water and the target group, interviewed children, were eager to participate.
