Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
Damaged eye sight refers to blindness and amblyopia, where blindness is defined as high state of amblyopia without functional use of sight (condition of sight up to 10%) while amblyopia refers to condition of sight from 10% to 40% where functional use of sight is achieved by use of glasses or contact lenses. Person with damaged eye sight, who wants to move successfuly and independently, should pass a certain training for orientation and movement. For the conduction of peripathology exercises in preschool institutions, it is necessary to have an instructor for orientation and movement. By implementing peripathology exercises in preschool age it is required to develop other senses (undamaged eye sight, hearing, touch and smell). Along with developing other sense, it is required to develop spatial relations, size, shape, positive self-image and environmental awareness that surrounds the child. The simplest peripathology exercis that a child can use to walk is by following a wall. Children with damaged eye sight, as well as adults, can use several forms of work which will allow them to move with more ease in the space that surrounds them. The most appropriate forms of work are seeing guide and a long stick. Instructor with the child of preschool age can use some basic peripathology exercises like proper grip, position of hand and body of guided person and how to initiate contact.
