Abstract
U današnje vrijeme mediji imaju sve veću ulogu u životu djece, kako u njihovoj svakodnevici, tako i u njihovom obrazovanju. Povezujući djecu i medije osobito jedan medij ima značajnu ulogu, a to je animirani film. Budući da su djeca mlađe školske dobi izložena velikoj količini animiranih filmova iznimno je važno da učitelji obrađuju teme koje su učenicima primjerene i bliske te da ih educiraju i usmjeravaju ka kritičkom razmišljanju. Upravo to omogućuje nastava medijske kulture jer kao što u nastavi Hrvatskoga jezika učenici promišljaju o pročitanome tekstu, tako u medijskoj kulturi učenici promišljaju o pogledanome filmu. Glavni je cilj nastave medijske kulture filma osposobljavanje učenika za kritičko primanje poruka s ekrana, razvijanje estetske osjetljivosti, aktiviranje mašte te naposljetku stjecanje filmske naobrazbe. Učitelji bi trebali što kreativnije koristiti animirani film te na taj način učenike iz pasivnih gledatelja obrazovati u kritičke, aktivne gledatelje.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays the media plays a great role in children’s lives, both in their everyday and school life. When speaking of the connection that exists between children and media, one particular medium comes to mind, and that is an animated movie. Since young school aged students are exposed to vast amounts of animated movies, it is of utmost importance for teachers to work with topics that are appropriate and close to students’ everyday lives, which will in turn encourage students’ critical thinking. It is the class of media culture that provides such environment, because during the Croatian class students contemplate about what had been read, during the media culture, they contemplate about what had been watched. The main goal of media culture is to educate students on the critical reception of received messages, while developing a sense for aesthetics, active imagination and generally obtaining movie education. Thus, teachers should be more invested in using animated movies to encourage the students' transformation from passive to active movie viewers.
