Abstract
Cjeloživotno učenje odnosi se na svaku aktivnost učenja tijekom života radi razvoja vlastitih znanja, vještina i kompetencija. Učitelji su prenositelji znanja u društvu i iz toga proizlazi potreba za njihovim cjeloživotnim učenjem i obrazovanjem. Učitelji tijekom cijelog radnog vijeka trebaju težiti što boljem i kvalitetnijem stručnom usavršavanju odnosno trajnom profesionalnom razvoju. Cilj rada bio je utvrditi ključne elemente cjeloživotnog obrazovanja i istražiti stavove učitelja razredne nastave o cjeloživotnom obrazovanju, kako ga oni procjenjuju i koliko je ono za njih važno. Za utvrđivanje procjene učitelja o važnosti cjeloživotnog obrazovanja provedeno je istraživanje na uzorku od 50 učitelja u 6 osnovnih škola Brodsko-posavske i Osječko-baranjske županije. Lifelong learning refers to any activity of learning during a lifetime in order to develop knowledge, skills and competences. Lifelong learning comprises learning at all stages of life, from early childhood to old age. Teachers are carriers of knowledge in society and there is aconsequent need for their lifelong learning and education. Teachers throughout working life should aim at better quality of vocational training and continuous professional development. The aim of this study was to examine the key elements of lifelong learning and to explore the views of classroom teachers to lifelong education, as they are assessed and how it is important for them. To determine the evaluation of teachers on the importance of lifelong learning survey was conducted on a sample of 50 teachers in six elementary schools of Brod-Posavina and Osijek-Baranja County. Research results show that a very small percent of teachers decide to improve themselves and make some advancement in professionl or scientific sense.
