Abstract
Stereotipi su vrsta generalizacije o grupi ljudi kojom se iste osobine pripisuju gotovo svim članovima te grupe, ne vodeći računa o stvarnim varijacijama između članova. Oni mogu biti pozitivni i negativni te se i jedni i drugi kod djece pojavljuju od najranije dobi. Što je razlog tome, nije utvrđeno. Mnogi vjeruju da u stvaranju stereotipa veliku ulogu ima djetetova okolina, posebno roditelji koji svojim odobravanjima ili osudama potkrepljuju djetetovo ponašanje. Svrha ovog rada je utvrditi, na temelju literature, koje su razlike među spolovima te kakve stavove imaju djeca predškolske dobi o spolnim ulogama. Također, prikazati u kolikoj su mjeri spolni stereotipi kod djece biološki uvjetovani, a koliko socijalizacijski te utječu li stavovi odgojitelja na oblikovanje djetetovog mišljenja o raznim aktivnostima kao muškim ili ženskim.

A stereotype is a form of generalisation which is used when talking about a group of people, in which the same traits have been found in almost every member. With that being said, the real variations between members are not taken into consideration. Stereotypes can be positive or negative. The purpose of this paper, based on different literature, is determining the difference between the sexes as well as sheding some light on what presschoolers think concerning this subject. Furthermore, it is also important to show how many of these stereotypes have been biologicaly and how many socialy conditioned and whether the attitudes portrayed by teachers have any influence on childs opinion about different activities being characterised as male or female.
