Abstract
Balet je ples koji ima dugu povijest i koji se stoljećima usavršavao da bi se danas plesao u obliku kakvom ga poznajemo. Za balet su skladane brojne skladbe, a zadatak nastave glazbe treba biti upoznavanje učenika s njima. Upoznavanjem skladbi pisanih za balet učenici upoznaju i sam balet i postaju dio povijesti koja se toliko dugo razvijala i usavršavala. U ovome je radu proučavan balet u nastavi glazbe od 1. do 4. razreda. Cilj je bio utvrditi u kojoj su mjeri učenici upoznati s baletom i skladbama pisanima za balet te utječe li dob učenika na poznavanje skladbi pisanih za balet i utječe li spol učenika na ţelju za bavljenjem baletom. Istraţivanje je provedeno tijekom veljače 2016. godine u Osnovnoj školi Ivana Filipovića u Osijeku postupkom anketiranja 54 učenika drugih razreda te 48 učenika četvrtih razreda. Instrument koji se u tu svrhu koristio je anketni upitnik. Rezultati pokazuju da su s baletom više upoznati učenici drugih razreda, a posebno djevojčice. Učenici su nedovoljno upoznati sa skladbama pisanima za balet i lošije znanje pokazuju učenici četvrtih razreda, a ţelju za bavljenjem baletom u slobodno vrijeme iskazuju više djevojčice nego dječaci, što bi u praksi trebalo mijenjati.

Ballet is a dance which has a long history and which had been perfected for centuries, so today it can be performed in a from as we know it. There are numerous songs composed for the ballet, and the task of music class should be introducing them to pupils. By listening the songs written for the ballet, pupils learn about ballet and become a part of the history that has been developing and improving for a long time. This work shows information about ballet issue in music class from the first to the fourth grade. The goal was to determine the extent to which pupils know ballet and compositions written for it, including the influence of the age of the students on the knowledge for the songs composed for the ballet, also the gender difference of the pupils as the influence on their desire to start dancing ballet. Research was conducted during February 2016. in Osnovna škola Ivana Filipovića in Osijek by interviewing 54 pupils of the second grade and 48 pupils of the fourth grade. The instrument which was used for this purpose is questionnaire. The results show that the pupils of the second grade are more familiar with ballet, especially girls. However, fourth grade pupils are not sufficiently familiar with the songs composed for the ballet, but the second grade pupils show better knowledge of it. Girls showed more tendency to start dancing ballet than boys, which should be changed in future practice.
