Abstract Osim mašte, u današnje vrijeme brojne su mogućnosti za izražavanje kreativnosti, a među njima su i društvene mreže. Društvene su mreže neizostavni dio naših života, kako za komunikaciju, tako i za praćenje informativnih, zabavnih, sportskih i edukativnih sadržaja. Nove tehnologije i raznovrsni mediji stvorili su potpuno drukčiji svijet za nove generacije. Mnoge društvene mreže, poput TikToka, Snapchata i YouTubea, pružaju korisnicima različite mogućnosti korištenja te je cilj ovoga rada ispitati i ustanoviti učestalost korištenja društvenih mreža (TikTok, Snapchat i YouTube), vrsta sadržaja na njima i njihovo kvalitetno i kreativno korištenje kod učenika primarnog obrazovanja. Istraživanjem se, također, nastoji steći širi uvid u roditeljsku informiranost o provođenju slobodnoga vremena sudionika istraživanja na društvenim mrežama. Istraživanje je provedeno anketiranjem u online obliku na uzorku od 97 učenika dviju osnovnih škola u Vukovarsko-srijemskoj županiji. Istraživanjem se ustanovilo koju društvenu mrežu učenici četvrtih i osmih razreda osnovne škole najčešće koriste i u koje svrhe. Osim toga, rad daje uvid i u to koje sadržaje pregledavaju, koliko vremena provode na pojedinoj društvenoj mreži te jesu li roditelji upućeni o tome što objavljuju i koliko vremena provode na navedenim društvenim mrežama. Također, ispitano je preko kojih uređaja učenici pristupaju društvenim mrežama. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da većina ispitanih učenika primarnog obrazovanja koriste navedene društvene mreže. Također, uočilo se kako dio učenika provodi mnogo vremena na društvenim mrežama te da postoje i oni učenici koji društvene mreže koriste kako bi nešto naučili ili vidjeli neke edukativne sadržaje. Prema njihovim se odgovorima najbolje može vidjeti da na društvene mreže odlaze ciljano, tražeći one sadržaje koje trebaju u nadograđivanju svojih ideja i hobija. Ono što je najbitnije jest to da se treba razvijati dječja mašta. To će se najbolje postići ako ih se izlaže edukativnim sadržajima koji će na njih ostaviti korisne tragove i u njima probuditi kreativnost.
Abstract (english) Nowadays, social networks are one of many forms of creative expression besides imagination. Social networks are an indispensable part of our lives, being used both for communication and for keeping up with informative, entertaining, sports and educational content. New technologies and various media have created a completely different world for new generations. The purpose of this paper is to explore and determine the frequency of using social networks (TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube), the type of content on them and its quality and creative use by primary school students, since most of the networks, such as TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube, provide users a variety of usage options. The research also seeks to gain a broader insight into parental awareness of the research participants’ spending their free time on social networks. A sample of ninety-seven students from two primary schools in the Vukovar-Srijem County were surveyed online for this study. The research determined which social network is most used by fourth and eighth grade students, and the purpose of visiting these Networks. Closely examining viewed content, the amount of time spent on these social networks, to what extent are their parents informed about what their children post and the amount of time they spend on these Networks. It was also examined which devised students use to access social networks. The results of the research show that the majority of surveyed primary school students use social networks highlighted in this work. Additionally, it was noted that some students some students spend a lot of time on social networks, some of which utilise these platforms to see educational content or to learn something. According to their answers, it clearly be noted that they use social networks with a certain intent, searching for the content they need to further upgrade their ideas and interests. What is of the utmost importance is the development of children’s imagination. This will best be achieved if they are exposed to educational content that will leave useful impact on the and will awaken the creativity in them.
