A puppet is an integral part of children's lives. A child develops the best aspects of his personality with a doll. The child identifies with the puppet on the stage. The connection between a child and a stage puppet has its roots in early childhood where various toys in the family home were the first shadow puppets in their hands. In a child's imagination, every object is alive. Very often the first contact of children with the stage puppet was in kindergarten. In a play with a stage puppet, the child very often talks about his experience, feelings and desires. A child’s interpretation of reality that speaks during acting sometimes tells us about the child and his or her emotional state. Puppetry, even in educational work, can be described as a synthesis of different arts because it combines the experiences of movement, music, drama, dance and literature. The stage puppet in educational work is a mediator that encourages and enriches the overall development of the child. It helps the child to develop a rich vocabulary, strengthens his social inclusion, strengthens self-confidence and encourages creativity, imagination, development of cultural values.
