From birth, a child has various connections with puppets. Puppet is an important aid in a child's development and therefore sholud never stop being use din working with children. The world of puppets is full of imagination, play and creativity, and everything that characterizes a child. The most important movement for a stage puppet is the movement that brings it to life, it gives her meaning. Everything is possible for a child with the puppet and imagination, animals and objects can talk and plants can move, dance and sing. But nothing would be possible for the puppet without the puppeter who gives her a soul. In puppetery, there are differenet types of stage puppet. Some of them are: hand puppet, marionette, yawing puppet, rod puppet, shadow puppet... Preschool teacher helps the child to develop a positive self – image using the puppet. Puppet enables the child to communicate more easily with the preschool teacher and others children. With the help of a puppet, that is, by manipulating the puppet, withdrawn children become more open, and are more involved in the conversation with a certain group of children.
