Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada su brojalice i igrice na engleskom jeziku za djecu vrtićke dobi. U daljnjem radu su opisane brojalice na hrvatskom i na engleskom jeziku koje su potkrijepljene primjerima. S obzirom da su brojalice većinom veselog sadržaja djeca ih vole učiti. Iz toga razloga su vrlo dobar način svladavanja engleskog jezika u ustanovama ranog i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja. Kroz brojalice djeca će brže i jednostavnije savladati engleski jezik, posebice ako se uče uz pokrete tijela. Isto tako, igra je jedna od najvažnijih aktivnosti za djecu vrtićke dobi. Za početno učenje engleskog jezika najprimjerenije su upravo igre jer su neizostavan segment djetetova života. U suvremenom dobu računala, mobilni telefoni i internet su neophodni za život, a djeca su im svakodnevno izložena. Iako postoje loši utjecaji suvremene tehnologije, ona nudi i mogućnost razvoja i učenja pomoću igrica. Primjeri video igara koje su dobre za djecu predškolske dobi su opisani u daljnjem radu.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this final paper is rhymes and chants in English for children of pre-school age. The following paper describes the rhymes and chants in Croatian and English, which are supported by examples. Considering that rhymes and chants are mostly fun, kids love to learn them. For this reason, they are a very good way to master English in institutions of early and preschool education. Through rhymes and chants, children will learn English faster and easier, especially if they learn it through body movements. Also, play is one of the most important activities for children in kindergarten. Games are the most appropriate for the initial learning of English because they are an indispensable segment of children's life. In the modern age, computers, mobile phones and the Internet are necessary parts of life and children are exposed to them every day. Although there are bad influences of modern technology, it also offers the possibility of development and learning through games. Examples of video games that are appropriate for preschool children are described in the following paper.
