Abstract
Roditelji su osobe koje osiguravaju djetetu osnovnu skrb, zadovoljavaju životne potrebe i vode dijete kroz život. U odgoju djece roditelji se priklanjaju nekom odgojnom stilu roditeljstva kao što su autoritaran, autoritativan, permisivan i indiferentan stil. Zbog suvremenog načina života, roditelji dio svoje odgojne uloge prepuštaju odgojiteljima u dječjim vrtićima. Odgojitelji ostvaruju kontakt i sa roditeljima te dolazi do suradnje ili partnerskog odnosa odgojitelja i roditelja. Odgojitelj je taj koji inicira suradnju i traži nove načine kako bi zainteresirao roditelje za suradnju. Najčešći načini suradnje su individualni razgovori, roditeljski sastanak i kutići za roditelje, a manje su zastupljeni pedagoške radionice, posjeti obitelji djeteta, boravak roditelja u grupi, dan otvorenih vrata i dr. Neki odgojitelji mogu imati negativan stav prema suradnji zbog različitih razloga s kojima se susreću, a to može bit strah od nastupa na roditeljskim sastancima, osjećaju da ih roditelji ne cijene i vide ih kao čuvare njihove djece, neki roditelji nisu zainteresirani za život i rad svog djeteta u vrtiću i sl., no ipak postoje načini za promjenu negativnih stavova te će nakon toga odgojitelji htjeti ostvariti kontakt s roditeljima

Parents are persons who are responsible to assure basic care for their children, they satisfiy childrens needments and ceep directing them through life. In child´s education, every parent have their own parenting style like authoritarian, authoritative, permissive and undifferentiated. Because of contemporary way of life, one part of their education role, parents are giving to the preschool teachers in the kindergarten. Preschool teachers make communication with parents and because of that, they are building parent-teacher cooperation. Also, preschool teacher must initiate relationship and keep searching new ways to induce parents for cooperation. The most offten way of cooporation between parents and preschool teachers are individual conversations, meetings and special place in kindergarten with information of what children are learning. There are other way of relationsheep like education meetings and workshops, visit the house of one child, parents stays in kintergarten group or door open days. However, because of different reasons, some preschool teacher can have a negative stance according to cooporation between parents and teacher. Some reasons are fear of public performance at meetings. They can have a feel that parents don´t appreciate them and that they only see them like children keeper. Also, some parents aren´t interested for life and educating of their own child. However, there are lot of ways for changing negative stance after which preschool teachers will want to make cooporation with parents.
