Abstract	Zadatak diplomskog rada je bio odreĊivanje optimalnog FACTS ureĊaja za ugradnju u TS 400/110 kV Ernstinovo pri tome uvaţavajući dio prijenosne mreţe Prijenosnog podruĉja Osijek s aspekta dinamike odnosno odziva kompenzacije u sluĉaju raznih prijelaznih pojava poput kratkog spoja u trafostanici, ispada nadreĊene mreţe i kritiĉnog voda te kvara u 110 kV mreţi. Pobliţe je opisan prijenos elektriĉne energije i odnos napona i jalove snage kao i naponska stabilnost sustava i razliĉiti tipovi FACTS ureĊaja. Na 400 kV sabirnicu u TS Ernestinovo prikljuĉen je STATCOM koji je parametriran u softwareu DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Implementiranjem QPU_ sweep skripte u navedeni software odreĊeni su parametri STATCOM – a poput nazivne snage i opsega kompenzacije za odreĊene naponske radne toĉke. Na kraju rada je provedena je usporedba dvije strukture regulatora STATCOMA te njihov utjecaj na napon prilikom nabrojanih prijelaznih pojava, snagu kompenzacije kao i brzinu odziva kompenzacije.
Abstract (english)	The task of this thesis was identifying optimal FACTS device to be installed at the 400/100kV power sub-station in Ernestinovo, at the same time having in mind part of the transport network of Transmission area of Osijek, from the aspect of dynamics, i.e. the response compensation in case of various transient phenomena, such as the short-circuit in power sub-station, major network and critical line outage, and failure in 110kV network. The electrical energy transfer and the relation between voltage and reactive power, as well as voltage system stability and various types of FACTS devices have also been described.The STATCOM which was modified into DIgSILENT PowerFactory software has been connected to 400kV busbar in power sub-station in Ernestinovo. By the implementation of the QPU_ sweep script into the previously mentioned software, the parameters of STATCOM, such as rated output and compensation range for specific voltage study points have been defined. Finally, the comparison between the two structures of STATCOM controllers has been made, and their impact on voltage during the previously mentioned transient phenomena, the compensation power, as well as response compensation rate.
