Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se problematikom kontrole napona i jalove snage vjetroelektrana. Obrađeni su načini kontrole jalove snage i napona za pojedine tipove vjetroturbina te utjecaj vjetroelektrane na napon elektroenergetskog sustava. U poglavlju dva opisana je veza između jalove snage i napona. Načini regulacije jalove snage i smanjenja pada napona opisani su u poglavlju tri. Poglavlje broj četiri odnosi se na teorijski dio vezan uz energiju vjetra i same vjetroelektrane. Također je dan pregled tehnologija generatora koji se koriste kod vjetroturbina i načini regulacije napona svake od njih. Peto poglavlje odnosi se na praktični dio rada simuliran u programskom paketu Power World Simulator.

Parallel abstract (English)
This thesis deals with the problem of reactive power and voltage control of wind power plants. It describes the methods of reactive power and voltage control for certain types of wind turbines and impact of wind farms on the voltage of thepower system. Chapter two describes the relationship between the reactivepower and voltage. Ways to control reactve power and reduce the voltage drop are described in chapter three. The fourth chapter refers to the theoretical part related to wind power. It also gives an overview of wind power generator technologies and the ways of voltage regulation for each of them. The fifth chapter deals with the practical part of thesis simulated in software package Power World Simulator.
