Abstract
U ovom radu opisana je podjela hibridnih električnih vozila, povijest hibridnih vozila, prodaja hibridnih vozila i njihov utjecaj na okoliš. Također opisani su ciljevi, povijest, primjena i programi koji se nalaze u programskom rješenju Modelica. Ovaj rad prikazuje modeliranje modela za konvencionalni automobil i modele za hibridno električno vozilo u Modelica programskom rješenju. Kada je to moguće koriste se modeli iz Modelica standardnih biblioteka. Za konvencionalni automobil razvijeni su modeli ručnog mjenjača, ručnog pogona, kotače, podvozje i otpor zraka. Dok za paralelno hibridno električno vozilo razvijeni su modeli neprekidnog promjenjivog prijenosa, baterije, električnog motora, prekida dovoda goriva u motor s unutarnjim izgaranjem i pretvarač koji distribuira struju između generatora, električnog motora i motora s unutarnjim izgaranjem.

Parallel abstract (English)
This thesis describes the topologies of hybrid electric vehicles, history of hybrid vehicles, sales of hybrid vehicles and their impact on the environment. It also describes the goals of Modelica, history of Modelica, Modelica applications and programs that are included in the Modelica environment. This thesis shows the modeling of models for conventional cars and hybrid electric vehicles models in the Modelica environment. When possible, models are used from the Modelica Standard Library. For a conventional car, models for manual gearbox, manual drive, wheel, chassis and air drag are developed. For parallel hybrid electric vehicles the following models are developed; for a continuously variable transmission, battery, an electric motor, fuel cut-off function for the internal combustion engine and a converter that distributes the current between generator, electric motor and internal combustion engine
