Abstract
U diplomskom radu pokušalo se pokazati kako napraviti električni stroj, u ovom slučaju transformator u Ansoft Maxwell programu. Prvih nekoliko poglavlja su teorijska i opisuju transformator, njegovu ulogu i njegove nedostatke. Nakon toga, govori se o Maxwellu, kako i na kojim fizikalnim temeljima je nastao. Program računa metodom konačnih elemenata. Određena je magnetska indukcija, magnetsko polje i magnetski tok. Pokazan je i utjecaj mijenjanja veličine samog zračnog raspora. Nakon toga su uspoređeni rezultati koje je izračunao program i rezultati ručnog proračuna

Parallel abstract (English)
The aim of this Master's thesis is to show how an electric machine, in this case a transformer, is made in Ansoft Maxwell software. The first few chapters are theoretical and describe the transformer, its role and its shortcomings. After that, it deals with Maxwell, how and on which physical foundations it emerged. The software calculates by using the finite element method. Magnetic induction, magnetic field and magnetic flux are determined. The effect of changing the air gap size is also shown. Finally, the results calculated by means of software and the results obtained by manual calculation are compared
