Abstract
Transformatori su uređaji koji rade na principu elektromagnetske indukcije gdje pretvaraju električnu energiju iz jednog izmjeničnog sustava u drugi sustav iste frekvencije ali samo iste frekvencije i promijenjene vrijednosti napona i struje. Sastoji se od osnovnih i pomoćnih dijelova. Transformator ima značajnu ulogu u elektroenergetskom sustavu zato što on omogućuje ekonomičnu prije svega, te pouzdanu i sigurnu proizvodnju, prijenos i distribucije električne energije.

Transformers are devices that operate on the principle of electromagnetic induction which convert electricity from alternating one system to another system of the same frequency but only the same frequency and changed values of voltage and current. It consists of the main and auxiliary parts. The transformer has a significant role in the power system because it enables cost-effective primarily, and reliable and safe production, transmission and distribution of electricity.
